Dr Tawfiq Khoja, the Director General of the Executive Bureau of the Council of the GCC Health Ministers, inaugurated here today the Council's 63rd periodical meeting. During their three-day meeting, the Health Ministers will review a number of topics including the electronic linkage among the data centers in the GCC states and the executive bureau, means of combating non-epidemic diseases, the activation process of the international strategy for the food system. They will also discuss means of combating heart and vessel diseases, cancer diseases and development of the health systems. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
