Awwal 02, 1432, April 6, 2011, SPA --Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here last night ambassadors of Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar to Yemen Ali Al-Hamdan; Abdullah Al-Badi and Jassim bin Abdulaziz Al-Buainain, respectively. The ambassadors conveyed to the Yemeni President the decision of the Extraordinary Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Cooperation Council for The Arab States of The Gulf (GCC) inviting the Yemeni government and the opposition parties to meet in Riyadh for talks to ensure a solution to the current crisis and to maintain the security and stability of Yemen and its unity. For his part, President Saleh renewed his country's welcome of the GCC mediation, pointing to close brotherly ties binding Yemen with the GCC countries. He stressed his keenness on serious and constructive dialogue to solve the current crisis and its implications, affirming that Yemen's security and stability are integral parts of the security and stability of the Gulf region and the Arabian Peninsula.
