Yemeni Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research DR. Salih Ali Ba Sura met here yesterday Saudi ambassador to Yemen Ali Al-Hamdan; Omani ambassador Abdullah Al-Badi, and Qatari Charge D'affairs Yousef Al-Mahmoud. They reviewed aspects of cooperation between the institutions of higher education in Yemen and the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and the contribution of the GCC states in establishing a national museum for sciences in Sanaa, which is expected to be implemented at a total cost of $40 million. Dr Ba Sura also discussed with the envoys the mechanism of admission of Yemen's membership to the institutions of higher education in the GCC states in addition to means of bolstering cooperation between the Yemeni and Gulf universities. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
