Akhir 30, April 4, 2011, SPA -- Delegates of the Riyadh-based Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Brussels-based European Union (EU) held a meeting at experts level in Brussels today to discuss a wide-range of issues of concern to the two parties and finalize preparations for the 22nd joint ministerial meeting between the them scheduled for Abu-Dhabi on April 20, 2011. An official source of the meeting told reporters that today's meeting is set to evaluate the extent of implementation of the joint task plan reached by the GCC and EU one year ago. The Joint Cooperation Committee that gathers the two sides discusses issues related to trade, economy investment, energy, transport, tourism, education in addition to regional developments and bilateral relations between the GCC and the EU.
