Awwal 14, 1432 / April 18, 2011, SPA -- The Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met here today Catherine Ashton, the Vice President of European Commission and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. During the meeting, they reviewed issues on the agenda of the 21st GCC-EU ministerial council meeting to be held in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. They also discussed joint cooperation between the GCC and the EU in addition to the current political situation in Arab region.
