In a statement to reporters, the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the Conference and the Secretary General of Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences Eng. Awni Al-Khasawneh has disclosed that the three-day conference will discuss a number of topics including traditional and modern calendars, monitoring lunar crescents, and setting timings for daily prayers.
