Akhir 07, 1432, March 12, 2011, SPA -- Israeli Occupation Forces have imposed a tight military cordon on the city of Al Quds (Jerusalem) and tightened inspection and crossing procedures at military checkpoints located at the main entrances to the city, Palestinian sources said. The sources added that the Israeli Occupation Forces have also prevented citizens who hold entrance permits from crossing these check-points. The sources quoted witnesses as saying that the Israeli occupation forces set up a number of military checkpoints on the streets of external and ring roads that connect the city to the West Bank. Nevertheless, the Israeli Occupation Forces also engaged in 'provocative' checking of identification cards and inspection of vehicles.
