The Dow Jones industrial average was up 92.56 points, or 0.77 percent, at 12,077.17. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 12.20 points, or 0.94 percent, at 1,307.31. The Nasdaq Composite Index added 21.19 points, or 0.78 percent, at 2,722.21. Big moves in U.S. oil refining shares could soon reverse as traders digest the impact of the disaster.
