Atiyyah was delivered on his behalf by Hadeel Abdullah Bin Samhan from the Department of Gulf Common Market in which he said that the volume of industrial investment in the GCC countries has risen to more than $ 180 billion in 2009 and the total number of factories 13,000 having 1 million workers. He noted that the volume of trade between the GCC countries and Romania reached $ 609 million in 2009 compared to $ 122 million in the year 2000. Participants in the three-day Forum included GCC Ministers of Economy, Industry and Commerce; representatives of other concerned ministries; and presidents of major banks and chambers of commerce.
