Akhir 02, 1432, March 07, 2011, SPA -- A Forum on "Quranic Education" has been organized recently by the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization and the Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) in cooperation with the Russian Islamic University in Qazan - the capital city of the republic of Tatarstan. The Five-day Forum was attended by a large number of dignitaries and eminent Islamic Scholars. The Forum discussed 24 research papers presented by delegates of Institutes and Colleges in the Republic. These papers tackled varied subjects of Islamic teachings. A workshop on "Obstacles to Quranic Education in the Russian Republics" was also arranged on the sidelines of the Forum. In its concluding session, the Forum adopted a number of recommendations focusing on the importance of working to create more educational centers of Quranic education in the Russian republics to meet the increasing demand of those who want to learn more about the Holy Quran.
