The International Organization for Memorization of the Holy Quran has recently held the second contest for memorization of the Holy Quran in Kazan city in Russia. As many as 39 contestants have taken part in the contest which was held by the Organization in cooperation with Tatarstan's Religious Department and Kuwaiti Society for Islamic Education in Russia. A Representative of Russian Council of Ministers expressed her pleasure and pride in holding the contest in the city of Kazan, the capital of Muslims in Russia, and thanked all officials who have contributed to the success of the contest. On the other hand, the International Organization for Memorization of the Holy Quran has held a ceremony in honor of the second batch of graduates from Othman bin Affan Institute of Memorization of the Holy Quran in the city. The ceremony was attended by a number of officials.
