Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, the Secretary General of World Muslim League (MWL) met here today with Dr. Ghareeb Al-Arabi, President of European Organization of Islamic Charities in Switzerland "OBIS." During the meeting, Al-Arabi briefed Al Turki on OBIS social activities of supporting Mosques, holding cultural forums and supervising Quran Memorization sessions for Muslims. He said the OBIS was established in January 2009. The Islamic International Foundation for Economics and Finance (IIFEF), an affiliate of the Muslim World League (MWL) held a Forum on "the Impact of World Economy Crises on the Islamic World." OBIS also have an Islamic Cultural Center based in Zurich comprising of two schools with 170 students enrolled for teaching young Muslims about the basic tenets of Islam and also overseeing the Quranic schools for the younger generations, he pointed out. The OBIS is seeking the cooperation of MWL affiliated organs especially the Holy Quran Memorization International 'Org' and 'IIoem' the international Islamic education org.
