Awwal 25, 1432, Feb 28, 2011, SPA-- Prince Sultan Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities chaired here on Sunday the 2nd meeting of the Steering Committee of Thameen (Precious) for Rehabilitation and Development of Architectural Heritage Sites. In a press statement following the meeting, the Prince emphasized the importance of the rehabilitation of heritage towns and villages and their restoration to economic cycles to provide job opportunities for citizens, stressing that these towns and villages should be live-sites of our heritage and national history, especially to Saudi young generations.
