Prince Sultan Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, chaired here on Sunday the first meeting of the Steering Committee of Thameen "Precious" Initiative for Rehabilitation and Development of Architectural Heritage. Addressing the meeting, the Prince said that the great welcome of the Initiative by local authorities and communities in the sites of architectural heritage necessitates that officials in charge of the project should expedite its implementation very well to achieve the goals and outcomes of the Initiative in rehabilitation and development of urban heritage sites and to transform them into civilization landmarks and economic projects.
