Awwal 19, 1432, April 23, 2011, SPA -- Prince Sultan Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, President of General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities has chaired here the first meeting of the Advisory Committee for Antiquities and Museums after its re-formation. Addressing the Committee, the Prince has expressed his hope that the Committee would continue its missions started in its previous sessions to make quantum leaps in the field of national antiquities and museums, as well as their rehabilitation and protection. The Committee has been briefed on reports including among others a report on the disbursement of financial compensation for the foreclosures of archaeological sites amounting to more that SR 155 million.
