Awwal 18, 1432, Feb 21, 2011, SPA -- As many as 800 Palestinians, who were stranded in the Egyptian side, have entered the Gaza Strip through Rafah land port. These included patients after their recovery, some returning students and workers abroad as well as other humanitarian cases. The Egyptian authorities have decided to open Rafah land port of entry for the Palestinians stranded on the Egyptian side effective from last Friday and the number who were admitted during the past two days reached 1,119 persons who were stranded on the Egyptian side of the sector. It is noteworthy that Rafah Port had already been closed after the recent events in Egypt on January 28.
