Egyptian authorities continued the opening of Rafah Land Crossing for the 49th consecutive days for passing of Palestinians and the entry of humanitarian and relief aid in implementation of the directives of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to ease the siege on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. An Egyptian official source at the Crossing said in a statement today that as many as 33,511 Palestinians have passed through Rafah Crossing since its opening on June 01, 2010.
