Awwal 13, Feb 16, 2011, SPA -- Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped three Turkish engineers working on a project to prepare Kirkuk Park and took them to an unknown destination. A Police source of the Governorate said "Unidentified gunmen kidnapped, in the Corniche area, south of the city of Kirkuk Tuesday evening, three Turkish engineers out of five engineers responsible for the rehabilitation of Kirkuk Park." "The kidnappers, who were carrying pistols and machine guns stormed the house of the three engineers after they were abducted and taken to an unknown destination," the source added. He explained that the police rushed to the scene and questioned two companions of the kidnapped engineers to find out and examine details of the incident and those who are behind this kidnapping.
