Palestinian Government expected to submit resignation to President Abbas

Awwal 11, 1432, Feb 14, 2011, SPA -- Palestinian media sources expected today that the Palestinian government headed by Dr. Salam Fayyad would submit resignation to President Mahmoud Abbas.
Ghassan Al-Khatib, a spokesman for the Palestinian government told the Voice of Palestine Radio that the government will hold an emergency meeting this morning and then resign. After consultations with Palestinian parties, President Mahmoud Abbas will ask Dr. Fayyad to form a new government.
