Awwal 09, 1432, Feb 12, 2011, SPA -- An Iraqi civilian was wounded today in a bomb explosion north of Baquba, capital of Diyala province. An official source of the Province's Police Department said that the bomb was planted near a shop selling home-furnishings in a popular market north of Baquba, and that its explosion caused severe injuries to the civilian as well as led to damages of contents of the shop and its near-about other stores. He added that security authorities were quick to impose a security cordon around the scene and carried out a raid and arrested some suspects during the search mission.
