Several ministers have instructed their affiliate authorities to provide support and assistance backup for Jeddah municipality to overcome the flood and rainfall problem whcih has so far inflicted the municipality sizable losses. Living up to instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud that the most possible assistance should be rendered to help reduce the negative effects of rainfall and flood in Jeddah Province, Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, has directed the ministry's branches in Riyadh, Makkah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, Qassim and Jazan regions and Al-Taif Province to each provide whatever possible assistance to their Jeddah municipality colleague to overcome the recent problem. For his part. Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, Minister of Social Affairs, also instructed the ministry's branches in Makkah Region, including the Social Insurance Department and the Females Social Supervision Department to do their best to provide help for the needy in Jeddah Province. He also urged charitable associations to show up as usual in such cases.
