In implementation of instructions by the Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid Al-Faisal and follow-up of Jeddah Province Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Dr. Hani Abu-Rass, the Mayor of Jeddah Province, directed the Jeddah Municipality's field teams to work round the clock to eradicate the negative effects of rainfall and flood water pools in all Jeddah neighborhoods. In this regard, the municipality has fixed more than 100 risky sites of flood water pools, now being drained. In a statement, Eng. Hisham Abideen, Chairman of the Rainfall Dealing Committee, an affiliate of the municipality, said more than 50 field teams and more than 500 laborers are using 200 tankers, 30 pumps, and 40 different equipment in the operation.
