The Director General of the Executive Bureau of the Health Ministers Council of the GCC Dr. Tawfiq Khoja, today underscored the great responsibility shouldered by hospital administrations in the Ministries of Health of the Arab countries over the upcoming period aiming at maintaining the successes achieved in the field of health and medical services in the Arab world. Addressing the 3rd International Conference on Health Environment in Hospitals, organized by the Higher Institute for Public Health, an affiliate of the University of Alexandria, Dr. Khoja noted that the GCC countries have made great strides recently in the development of hospitals and other health utilities, providing the best medical services in the region. He said much is needed to proceed with this achievement and seek far better medical health services. However, he called for more care of the human resources and training in hospitals in the GCC region.
