The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi met here today with former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroder and his accompanying delegation. The meeting discussed the situations at global energy markets, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's endeavors for their stability in terms of the balance of supply and demand and prices, the promotion of joint investments between the two countries, the importance of exchange of visits between Saudi and German officials and the enhancement of cooperation in the field of petroleum and mining between the two countries. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the German Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
