Two people died on Tuesday suffering from H1N1 virus (swine flu), bringing to 8 the number of fatalities recorded in Jordan since the disease re-emerged in early December 2010. In a statement released on its website, the ministry of health said that the total number of H1N1 cases have reached 125 after reporting 13 more infections today. The ministry releases a daily report about the disease but it does not provide information about the conditions and ages of people who have died from the virus or those who contracted the disease. In 2010, 16 people died and more than 3,000 swine flu cases were recorded, according to Jordan News Agency (Petra).
