The Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Anqari, who is also Vice President of Board of Directors of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Archives and Research, has termed the Foundation as a historical important reference for studies related to the history of King Abdulaziz Ibn Abdulrahman Al-Faisal, the founder of modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that the Foundation includes unique, historical and important archives on the history of the Kingdom and the Gulf. In a statement on the occasion of opening of Manuscript Heritage of Saudi Arabia Exhibition here, Dr. Al-Anqari said the Exhibition being currently orgainzed by the Foundation is consistent with the objectives of the Foundation and its strategy in the service of the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Arabian Peninsula as well as Arab and Islamic history.
