The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh said today that the manuscript heritage is an integral part of the heritage of Saudi Arabia, noting that this heritage is considered as an important reference for the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and serves as a wealth for human resources that should be preserved and protected. In a statement on the occasion of opening of Manuscript Heritage of Saudi Arabia Exhibition here, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh described the Exhibition being organized by King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives under the patronage of Prince Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province and Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Directors, as an important step within the framework of the interest of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy King, and the Second Deputy Premier, in manuscript heritage, its preservation, and making it available to researchers in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
