Prince Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives, patronized here on Sunday evening the inauguration ceremony of Manuscript Heritage of Saudi Arabia Exhibition, organized by the Foundation with the support of Saudi Aramco Company. The ceremony was attended by The Grand Mufti of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and President of Senior Scholars Council and General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh; Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Aramco Company; and the Foundation's Secretary General Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Sammari. A speech ceremony was held on this occasion. Addressing the ceremony, the Kingdom's Grand Mufti expressed his thanks to Prince Salman for his continuing material and moral support for the Foundation so that it has had a leading and important role in the acquisition of manuscripts, their indexation, sterilization and restoration, calling on all people to cooperate with the Foundations and deposit manuscripts in its treasuries. --MORE
