In separate telephone calls, Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare, and his deputy Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz congratulated Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein, Chairman of the Jordanian Soccer Federation, on being selected as Vice-President of the Football Internationale de Federation Association (FIFA) for West Asia during elections at the General Assembly of the Asian Football Federation held in Qatar earlier today. In similar calls, they also congratulated Mohammed bin Hammam Al-Abdullah on winning a third term of the federation's presidency during elections held in Doha earlier today as well as the membership of FIFA Executive Council. They considered the two achievements as a source of pride and appreciation of all Arab sports supporters and a clear evidence of the status occupied by Arab sports in the regional and international youth and sports platforms.
