Joseph Blatter, the President of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held a press conference here today in the presence of Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of General Presidency of Youth Welfare, and his deputy Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz. Preceding him, Dr. Saleh bin Nasser, Chairman of Professionalism Committee and member of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, expressed thanks to FIFA Legal Department and Players Affairs Department for cooperating with the SAFF to help solve some issues of mutual concern. Then he gave an account on the achievements and responsibilities of the SAFF, citing its efforts to further develop football games and clean play bases, arrangement of participation of Saudi national teams and clubs in official and friendly Arab, regional and international competitions, enforcing soccer regulations and systems.
