Air traffic returned to normal at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah after the heavy rainfall witnessed by the two provinces pushed their authorities to divert some flights to other airports in the Kingdom. General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) spokesman Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Khaibri said that GACA followed-up with great interest the changes in weather conditions to preserve the safety of passengers.
