The 92nd round of the Executive Council of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) started in the Tunisian capital of Tunis today. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the meeting was led by Dr. Naif bin Hashal Alroomi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Planning and Educational Development. The meeting will discuss a number of issues, including a report on the cultural, educational and scientific situations in Palestine in general and on the situation in Al-Quds in particular, situation of educational and cultural institutions in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, and reports from other member states on adult education, illiteracy eradication etc.
