ALECSO Holds Executive Council Meeting

The Executive Board of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) will hold its 87th meeting on Monday at the Organization's headquarters in Tunis.
Saudi Arabia's delegation to the upcoming meeting will be headed by Ministry of Education's Under Secretary for Educational Development Dr. Naif Hashal Arroumi.
Speaking on the occasion to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Abdulrahman Hamad Assunani, the Permanent Saudi representative to ALECSO said the 5-day meeting will discuss a number of issues led by an executive program to enhance education in the Arab World; educational, cultural and scientific situations in Palestine in addition to supporting educational, cultural and scientific institutions in Djibouti, Somalia and the Union of Comoros.
He stated that the Executive Board will also review and evaluate the activities and Organization's programs in addition to following the process of making Encyclopedia on 'Arab and Muslim scientists and writers', and the process of writing the two reference books on the History of the Arab Nation.
