Mikrad told KUNA that the meetings were successful and that both sides were optimistic of the talks' outcomes. The meetings would increase cooperation, especially in the fields of oil and gas, and would strengthen mutual relations, he highlighted. The meetings were held according to Article 4 of the economic and technical cooperation agreement signed by the two countries during the visit of the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to Brunei in 2008.
