The "Arab economic integration from the private sector's perspective" forum, sponsored by Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, kicked off here Tuesday with the attendance of the Deputy Emir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The opening of the conference, organized by Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries was held at KCCI Headquarters, KUNA reported. The ceremony was attended by members of the ruling family, Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and senior officials. Sheikh Nasser said in a speech at the ceremony that Kuwait was always keen on sustaining and developing joint Arab cooperation in all fields, especially the economic field, and strengthening Arab relations to achieve the goals of the Arab people. --MORE
