Visiting Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held official talks yesterday with his Philippine counterpart on means of boosting bilateral relations. The talks, held in a cordial atmosphere and distinguished with mutual understanding, dealt with means of boosting the bilateral ties between the two countries, dating back to the late 90s. The senior-level discussions also dealt with means of enhancing joint cooperation in the economic, health and tourism sectors, as well encouraging investments in the sectors of energy, oil and gas. Following the talks, the two sides signed an agreement for cooperation in the sectors of oil and gas, another accord for cooperation in tourism. They were signed by the Kuwaiti Minister of Finance Mustafa Al-Shimali. For his part, Kuwait's Foreign Undersecretary, Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah, signed a separate agreement for cooperation in the health field, according to a report of Kuwait's news agency "KUNA." --MORE
