Hijjah 14, 1431H, Nov 20, 2010, SPA -- The President of Islamic Development Bank Group, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali, said today that The Saudi Project for Utilization of the sacrificial Meat for this year's Hajj, ended on Friday with the slaughter of more than 931,000 heads of sheep and 2, 409 camels and cows. He disclosed that the distribution of the meat to pilgrims and the poor in the vicinity of the Holy Mosque of Makkah began on the first day of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, noting that quantities of sacrificial meat will be shipped to 27 countries in the upcoming weeks.
