Hijjah 08, 1431/Nov 14, SPA -- The Saudi newspapers commented on the overall of the domestic, Arab and international topics, highlighting news and editorials of this year's Hajj and how the pilgrims are starting today (Sunday) to move to Mina Mishar to spend the day of "Tarwiyah'' (8th day of Dhul Hijjah or watering day). Riyadh-based Aljazeera newspaper said that this day witnesses the masses of pilgrims gather in a specific place and time which is the 8th day of Dhul Hijjah in a readiness to start the Hajj ritual following the steps of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). In this day, the pilgrims take enough water before leaving to Arafat and also rest in Mina to be physically prepared to perform their Hajj rituals, Aljazirah commented. Abha-based Al-Watan added that "The government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques had recently started to promote the culture of "Pilgrimage is Worship and Civilized Behavior" among the incoming pilgrims. It added that it is clear that the Keenness of the government of the Custodian of the two Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the organization of entering the holy places and its insistence on the necessity that each pilgrim must have his own Hajj permit, aims at reflecting the real image of Muslim, especially that the world news agencies and media are keen on covering the Hajj affairs annually. --More
