Hijjah 05, 1431 H/Nov. 11, 2010, SPA -- Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah announced the safety of passengers using King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah, stressing that they are free from any epidemic or quarantine diseases. In a press statement after touring the KAIA in Jeddah today and briefing on the functioning of the epidemiological surveillance in the airport halls, Dr. Al-Rabiah said that medical teams are working in 18 halls at the airport and reviewing certificates of vaccination and providing the required vaccines based on the health requirements approved by the Agency for Preventive Medicine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also valued the efforts being exerted by the medical teams accompanying the Hajj missions and the commitment of pilgrims to the necessary health and preventive requirements approved by the Ministry of Health.
