Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Manie stressed Monday that the health conditions of pilgrims this year are satisfactory and that all pilgrims enjoy good health. He also affirmed that no epidemic or quarantine cases have yet been detected. The minister added that all pilgrims have committed to all required vaccinations, attributing this to the keenness of the leadership and the concerned authorities on application of health requirements, both before departing from their own countries or after arriving in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Al-Manie indicated the ministry's continuation of applying the requirements of health after the arrival of pilgrims at 15 entry posts, noting that the total number of pilgrims, who arrived until Monday, amounted to 933,297 pilgrims at King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah; 16,424 pilgrims at Jeddah Islamic Seaport; and 110,591 pilgrims at land entry posts.
