A Fire in Traditional Tents at Mount Arafat Put Down

Hijjah 05, 1431 H/Nov. 11, 2010, SPA -- A fire raged in traditional tents at Mount Arafat in Makkah province but fire fighting teams were able to put it down without any loss of life.
Major Abdullah bin Thabit Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, Media spokesman of the Directorate General of Civil Defense for Hajj said that immediately after the complaint was received about a fire in a camp in Mount Arafat, the civil defense teams rushed to the incident and were able to circumvent the fire and put down it.
Causes of the accident are currently being investigated by the concerned authorities.
