OIC Intends to Strength Humanitarian Cooperation with UN

Hijjah 01, 1431 H/Nov. 07, 2010, SPA -- The Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) intends to sign a number of cooperation agreements with a number of United Nations organizations.
OIC Assistant Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs Atta al-Manan Bakhit said that the Department of Humanitarian Affairs is now preparing to sign a cooperation agreement on early warning, mobilizing and building capacity with United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
