Qa'dah 26, 1431/ Nov 3, 2010, SPA --The Supreme Court has called on all Muslims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to sight the crescent of the Lunar Month of Dhu Al-Hijjah on Saturday evening 29/11/1431H according to Umm Al-Qura Calendar, but if not seen at that date it should be sighted on Sunday evening 1/12/1431. In an announcement issued today, the Supreme Court also requested whoever sees the crescent of Dhu Al-Hijjah to report to the nearest court and register his testimony, or report to the authority of the region's governorate if there is no judge in the area where he sighted the crescent in order to facilitate reaching the nearest court. The Supreme Court also urges all Muslims to sight the Crescent for the cooperation of all in righteousness and piety.
