Qa'dah 22, 1431, Oct 30, 2010, SPA -- Prince Khalid Ibn Saud Ibn Khalid Al Saud, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia has met here with Uzbekistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade Elyor Ganiyev. The meeting dealt with the development of trade relations between the two countries represented in Saudi-Uzbek Joint Committee and the Council of Saudi and Uzbek businessmen. The Prince has also met with Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov. During the meeting, the Prince emphasized the importance of political consultations between the two countries and working within the framework of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in accordance with its resolutions, particularly as the views of the two countries have been identical in this regard. Prince Khalid Ibn Saud bin Khalid Al Saud has also held meetings with Uzbekistan's two deputies Minister of Foreign Affairs and discussed matters of mutual concern.
