TASHKENT, Uzbekistan: A Saudi Arabian delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Prince Halid Bin Saud Bin Halid Al-Saud visited Uzbekistan from Oct.26-28, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported. During the first day of the visit, the delegation visited several ministries to hold talks with the country's officials. The delegation was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade Elyor Ganiyev, and Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov. The sides considered issues of developing bilateral relations in trade-economic, among others. The sides also discussed rational use of water resources at transboundary rivers in Central Asia. Al-Saud also supported Uzbekistan's initiative to implement a multilateral project on the construction of the Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Oman-Qatar transport corridor to promote development.
