Qa'dah 12, 1431 / Oct. 20, 2010, SPA -- Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, President General of Meteorology and Environmental Protection of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of the decisions and recommendations issued by the meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs at its 44th session in terms of the unification of attitudes among Arab countries on the global climate changes and the negotiating stance in the coming international climate conferences. In a statement following the conclusion of the session of the Executive Office of Arab Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs here today, Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz said that the importance of today's meetings stems from being preceded the 16th session of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the 6th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Protocol Kyoto, to be held in Cancun, Mexico next month.
