The Council of Arab Ministers in charge of Environment Affairs concluded their 19th session here today. Saudi Arabia's delegation to the session was headed by Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, General President of Meteorology and Environment Protection and Head of the Council's Executive Bureau. The Council elected its Executive Bureau members for 2008/2009 under the chairmanship of Prince Turki including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan, Syria, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Bahrain. The Council approved Arab Ministerial Declaration on climate changes as an Arab stance to be submitted to the parties of United Nations Convention on Climate Change due to be held in Bali, Indonesia on December 8.
