Qa'dah 2, Oct 10, 2010, SPA -- The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Ahmad Zaynal Ali Reza inaugurated here on Saturday evening the first scientific symposium at the level of the Middle East and the world entitled "Strategic Marketing Through Values and Principles", organized by Dar Al-Hekma College for Girls in Jeddah. The symposium was attended by U.S. Professor Philip Kotler, who is a pioneer in marketing, as well as the best ten thinkers in administration and marketing in the world. The symposium was also attended by more than 1,000 experts and specialists in the fields of marketing and administration. In an inauguration speech, the Minister of Commerce and Industry noted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was one of the least affected countries by the world crisis, as its financial transactions have been based on the principles of the Islamic law and principles, praising Dr. Kotler as he has special theories that conform with the Islamic religion. On his part, Dr. Kotler said that he selected the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to launch his theory "Marketing 3, Values and Principles", because the Kingdom depends on the principles of ethics and values in its transactions.
