Rain toll rises to 14 in India's Kerala State

Qa'dah 02, Oct 10 (SPA) - Rains claimed five more
lives on Saturday, taking the toll to 14 over the last six days in southern state of Kerala.
Of the five deaths reported on Saturday, two were from Thiruvananthapuram district and two from Thrissur district. One person was drowned in Pathanamthitta district.
As many as 20 houses were destroyed in heavy rain and floods
in different parts of the state during the past 24 hours, the Press Trust of India reported.
