Armed thieves on Tuesday attacked a van carrying money from a bank in Bosnia and got away with 4 million euros (5.5 million dollars), the interior ministry said in Sarajevo, according to dpa. The robbers intercepted the armoured van at Grude, some 150 kilometres southwest of Sarajevo, by blocking the road with two cars and threatening with a rocket-propelled grenade launcher, forcing the guards to hand over the cash. The robbers fled after are still at large. The van was transporting money from the Unicredit Bank in Bosnia to the regional headquarters in Croatia, Bank officials told the Bosnian BHTV. They also said the cargo was insured.
